Lately I've been busy with a lot of things going on in my life right now. School is about to end meaning finals are coming up, so it's crunch time for me. Although I only have 2 finals, one research paper and a Geology final, I still need to give it my full attention. I have a flaw that makes me decide to work at the very last moment (see: PROCRASTINATE). I've been able to keep away from that with my geology class thanks to the fact that the class is pretty cool, and the teacher is probably one of the best teachers I've had in college. As for Composition, its DUMB. I like writing, but only when I'm not forced to write, so my research paper is taking me longer than usual. I should actually be typing it up right now, but just the thought of it makes me want to throw something [not abusively!]. well, maybe at the teacher, but she means well.
So anyways, I have lots to add to what has been going on lately, but I won't be able to update like I want to until after JUNE 10th. I'll try and remember most of it, but knowing me, I'll forget most of it. So have a good one, good luck to those studying for finals, and see you all in JUNE!
*ahem* JUNE 15 *ahem* birthday *ahem*

everything working to my personal fortune..
Wow, I've been neglecting this so much. Since my last post, so much has been going on with my life, I haven't found time to update this sucker. I usually post when my mind is wandering off and thinking about random things, but lately my mind has been plenty busy thinking of whats been set before me.
First off. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA!.. It's official. I'll be heading out during July for about a week of uncontrollable fun and nonsense with a group of friends! Other friends of ours will be there also so we might all run into each other, which could be both good and crazy. We'll be flying Virgin Airlines which has outrageously cool airplane cabins [see website for images], so expect drinking and good ol' fashion fun a mile high in the sky! We have about 10 people in my group going so far, and I am ONE OF TWO GUYS going! I make up 50% of the amount of males attending this trip [so far].. I don't know if that's a good thing or not, but I figured it'd be something to point out. I think its more bragging than complaining :) haha.. so more to that story later as we reach the official date. woo! hella excited!
Like I said before, I've been pretty busy lately. Well, not necessarily busy, but just preoccupied with other things. Crossfit has been occupying some of this time. I've been getting other people interested in crossfit, so I've been "training" them on some workouts, and giving them as much information as I can even though I'm not technically qualified to do that, but I've been learning as much as I can lately from an actual crossfit trainer. It seems I'm doing alright cause I've been asked many times about working out, so it's a good start. Might I suggest those who live in the Northwest area to visit Foundation CrossFit garage gym located in Lake City Way, Seattle [address on site]!
Through crossfit, I have met someone I've actually been looking for [see: "who you would like to meet" on my myspace page].. a girl willing to do crossfit with me! Hah. since we first worked out, we've been spending more time hanging out outside of the gym. Not only does she crossfit, but she likes the outdoors and likes to be active. Umm, yeah.. shes great in my book so far. So lately we've been doing some pretty cool stuff..
Mariner's game [go M's!], Seattle Art Museum [in toga!], working out, partying, picnics, random walks and talks, studying, going to spa's, etc.. and the plans still continue as we speak!
its good fun so far, and she's been enjoying it also, which she totally deserves! lots of other fun stuff ahead of us, but hopefully ill be able to fill you all in on what ill be doing hopefully.
Summer is coming up, Spring quarter is ending.. I've been telling everyone that my plan is to move to Seattle this summer so I'll be looking for apartments in that area very soon. Maybe one that allows dogs [i got a Beagle!].. Summer is going to be REDONKULOUS I tell yah. I've made so many plans already for this summer, it'll be hard to top it. NO JOKE. I'm pretty excited for it!
[Bad segway right here]
Lately, I've been hearing people not taking advantage of situations when they definitely should. I touched base with this topic last blog, but i think i focused more on the "boys/girls to men/women" whole deal. When i say take advantage I mean take the initiative and do what needs to be done. "Live life. It's not a rehearsal." and that's the truth. If things don't work out the way you want it to, then things weren't meant to go that way. You will know when you are on the right path because everything will fall into place and you will eventually find what you have been looking for. Of course it's going to take a lot of hard work and time, but with patience and effort, you will know when you are on the right path. Sometimes the best route isn't necessarily the straight path, or the path you usually take. Maybe a new trail is what you need in life.
Anyways, it's late and I need to fold my laundry before I begin to pass out. Have a good one everyone. see you next blog.

boys & girls, not men & women
I can't sleep. I got tired earlier in the day after coming home from the gym, so I decided to take a little nap, only 1 hour, no biggy. It's 3:30 in the morning, and I think I can blame it on the fact that I took a nap AND had caramel macchiato espresso around 9:15pm. I tried laying down in bed already; no luck. I do this thing where I close my eyes and think randomly for about 10 minutes, then I open them to see if I'm tired. Usually I forget to open them, meaning I'm sleeping, or I open them slowly, another sign of my body telling me I'm tired. This time.. this time I open my eyes and I feel like it's mid-afternoon except its dark. Might as well make use of this time.. BLOG.
Not too long ago I had a discussion with a friend about messing with "girls/boys" and looking for "women/men." Being in our early 20's [thank Gaaahhd it's still early], we fit in the area where some of us finally mature, yet there are most of us who still act like kids. We hear it all the time, of people saying
"UGH! why must I always deal with BOYS?! I need a REAL MAN in my life!" or "I'm so tired of these GIRLS.. I need a WOMAN in my life."
It's tough separating the two maturity levels from each other, because so many factors come into play. Age, friends, job, goals, qualities, hobbies, free time, likes/dislikes, interests, etc. The list can go on, depending on the perspective. For me, I find myself jumping over the fence from time to time. I feel like I live in an area where maturity takes longer to process for most of us. But at the same time, I'm comfortable with it, seeing that I still do the same things I would do as a 'BOY'.. I may not be MAN from peoples perspective, but I like to think I'm on the right path. But I'm sure many think exactly the way I do, so I'm no different than anyone else. But there are times when you can truly tell who is "maturing" rather than "growing up," which are two totally different things.
In a nut shell.. "Growing up" would be aging with time, getting a job or going to school, and just coasting through life. "Maturing" includes the same, but ALSO a change in the quality of yourself. You think differently, do what's in the best interest for your future, face problems head strong, being responsible for your own actions, focusing on the important things in life.. You know, pretty much cutting down on the bullshit and being REAL.
One thing that stands out the most, and its only because I've seen it many times recently, and I'm sorry for singling out the ladies [or 'girls'] out there, is how they extend a relationship knowing that the idea of breaking up is closing in on their time. I'm sure guys do it too, but right now, I've only seen ladies doing this. I don't understand it. If you know it's going to happen, MATURE already and get it over with. Once you ask yourself
"Is this relationship worth it? Is it going where I want it to go? I don't know what to do.."
and you've done this on many occasions, you have the answer already! You just don't want to realize it! Extending the time makes it difficult on both parties [and third parties, if there are..]. Both are bound to get hurt, so why make it harder by waiting until a certain moment. THERE IS NO GOOD TIME TO BREAK UP! BREAK UPS ARE ALWAYS BAD [unless its mutual]. Today you may be thinking it's time to break up, but Dude might be thinking its time to take it to the next level by tomorrow.
We only learn from taking action. We always ask ourselves many things through life, yet maybe 80% of the time those questions become "What If.." that you get to spend the rest of your life thinking about! Great, right?! Not. I'm not saying to go and do EVERYTHING you always wondered about, but be MATURE. Quit with the bullshit and deal with what's going to come of certain situations, rather than waiting it out, like it's going to be easier the longer you let it sit, like its a hot cup of tea.. It's not. It's water on a hot stove; The earlier you take it off, the more easy it will be to consume, rather than when you drink hot ass water and you burn your taste buds off and have to endure the pain and shitty feeling you get after [wow, that was a better metaphor than i expected]. I've had my "taste buds burnt" and got the "shitty feeling after" and it sucks. It took LONG to realize what happened, but I think I've come to terms with it, and I like to think I have a better understanding of it. Of course, there's still a small part of me that is bitter, but it's much smaller than what it used to be.
I hate writing this long. I forget the moral of this stuff.. This is where it gets a bit random. What's the title again? Oh yeah, boys/girls..men/women.. So yeah, I'm not hating on the boys/girls. I'm just saying if you want to find a man/woman, then act like one. You only find those who are in the same boat as you. If you end up with a boy, you probably acted like a girl. If you try and change yourself, you might end up with another person trying to mature also. Maturing in a relationship is possible, just as long as YOU mature. You and your partner would/should feed off each others presence, therefore mature together. Monkey see, monkey do, yeah? I like to think so. I had a partner once, and we matured together. Along the way I became childish, she fed off of my presence, and now I long for who she USED to be [and still is on the inside, I know it. Cause I know I'm still the same]. So do yourself a favor, and think about what you do. Mature as you grow up. I'll do the same.
**Damn, not sleepy yet. just hungry :(

Wrappin' it up!
April 16 [Wednesday]: GLOW IN THE DARK TOUR, SEATTLE WA. This show was amazing. Me and a few friends were lucky enough to score some floor seat tickets so we were absolutely hyped up for the show. We arrived a bit late due to some traffic, but luckily only missed 20min of Lupe's show. As we got to the seats, I could look up and around and see nothing but moving bodies, arms waiving, and glow sticks moving around like fireflies. Unfortunately I missed out on N.E.R.D.'s performance cause I got stuck in line buying shirts. Made it in time for Rihanna's act which was actually pretty good. I expected her sequence to be not as entertaining, but she proved me wrong. and then KANYE's performance. Seriously, no words to discribe how imaginatively talented this dude is. IT'S INSANE. He truly does know how to be a performer, and deserved the spotlight that night. I'm still on the hunt for his GLITD poster, and I'm hoping someone makes this image
into a poster. Shit is so awesome! damn. Kanye you know how to do things big. Fuck those who talk shit.
Another thing, because we had FLOOR SEATS, we were seated right next to the sound/light stage, which was in the back-center of the floor. During Kanye's performance most of the artists came down to watch from the sound/light stage, so I was fortunate enough to see artists such as Pharrell [who gave me a head nod!] and Chad from N.E.R.D., Matthew Santos, Sarah Green, and the beautiful Nikki Jean [who waved back at me!]. OH MAN, that totally made the seats worth it. Wouldn't have traded that moment for anything.
Thanks for inviting me, friends! you guys are awesome! and thanks to Mike for dropping and picking us up!
April 17 [Thursday]:
Didn't do jack shit pretty much. haha. slept, dropped Dru off at his FIRST DAY OF WORK [nice dude! hook it up! haha]. Slept more, woke up and dropped Kristina off at school, then left early to pick Dru up. Took his longboard for a ride around the block of his work since it was a nice day, then he showed up and we headed for the ferry back to Bremer-Dale, where we spent some time at a Cafe, which was relaxing. I was HELLA eaves-dropping [?] in on this conversation of girls right next to me. haha. SHIT! they were talking hella loud, what do you expect me to do? something about BF's and dudes, and some other shit. that was fun. Spent the rest of my night in front of my computer typing up a paper [bleh].
April 18 [FRIDAY!]: This day actually started at 00:00am for me, cause I put my paper off till the last minute, so I stayed up late working on it. Finished half by 5:00am, took a short nap, woke up at 8:15am, and finished the rest of it, printing it as im changing for school and eating half a bowl of cereal. I felt like shit today. not enough sleep and food in my system. RIGHT after class I headed for the GYM to do the CROSSFIT WORKOUT OF THE DAY [see CrossFit Log]. I didn't finish it though, cause I seriously felt like crap, my head was pounding, my mouth was dry, back hurt, and i felt so weak; no energy at all. Moral of that story?.. PAPERS ARE A BITCH, never take Composition. hah.
So now I'm supposed to be getting ready for Seattle again. Another music concert, and probably some drinking with some Seattle-heads. We'll see how this night ends up. Something spectacular happens today tho!
**red band clip**
I expect this movie to do good this weekend, hopefully number 1 for the weekend since all the other movies don't include a half naked KRISTEN BELL, so all other movies this weekend can suck my douche. mmmmmm gross.
April 19 [Saturday]: 11am workout with LOCAL'S GYM. Those in the area, check 'em out. There's going to be a Hooverball Tournament. Never been to one so we'll see how BAD I do.
Other than that, I think that's all I've got for now. So enjoy the weekend, glad you read this far. and hopefully I'll post some pictures up of stuff, because hey, who doesn't enjoy some pictures, right? I know I do. especially the ones where the girls is.. ..

Hi there. Miss me?
Quick update: Better. Much Better. I've kept my mind focused on what I have now, rather than what I don't have. And even though the thought is still there, it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. It's like being myself all over again, and doing what I can do for myself until the door of opportunity opens up for that special someone again. Until then, it's time to be greedy :) So on that note..
I want to take this time to thank some people, who've been there when I needed company.
The David's.. Yes, my weird and fun family. It may seem like I'm always wanting to get away and may sometimes feel like I'm never at home, when in actuality I am at home. I only talk about leaving Bremerton because I want to meet new people, not leave my family of course. Why would I want to leave home-cooked meals right when I come home from school? or FREE groceries?! or just that simple family-feeling you get when your around them?.. not me. So thank you for your company. Even you Charity! Even though you're not here, the fact that we get to make fun of you and you can't say anything about it, makes it feel like your here! baaahahahha!
The Fam.. The guys from the Bremer-Dale. Even though I haven't been around to hang out much lately, you guys always make me feel like I'm still part of the group. I hope you guys understand that my absence is just me trying to get my life moving in the direction I want it to go, and I am not trying to leave you guys behind. You guys have been there since day 1, and I know I can look to you guys for some straight up good fun. Don't worry, once I get some cash flow into my wallet, you will see me more often. And if/when I move out to Seattle, you guys are more than welcome to visit! Thanks guys.
The Seattle Crew.. To the new friends I have gained in my recent losses, what else could a guy looking for some new faces ask for?! Foreals. You company is a blessing even when we don't do shit! haha.. but when we do end up going out or making plans, your company is fucking nuts I tell yah. And I know there will be more fun times to come, and hopefully more new faces.. you know what I mean?! hehe.. thanks for letting me crash at your places, letting me tag along in your plans, opening my eyes to a healthier life, and just being there when times were rough. I hope some day I can give back what you guys have given me! and those not in Seattle [Joe, Steph, Dwinson, + more] although we may not see eachother much, you guys rock as much as the Seattle-heads, and I thank you guy too!
So yes, I am back to my norms. Unfortunately, I can not promise this is permanent for my heart likes to act differently than my head does at times. But you all know that I am [somewhat] of a smart person, and that I can handle my shit, no matter what. And I know you guys will either back me up with my decisions or tell me straight up when I'm being an ass.
Upcoming things:
+ More updates on the CrossFit Log; I like CF. it makes me happy.
+ Glow In the Dark Tour APRIL 16th! FLOOR SEATS BABY! pics to come later!
+ Mariners games this season.. yeeeeeuuuuhhh, beer garden :)
+ Spring = More Sun [I hope]! = More outdoor recreational stuff! weeee!
+ Drunkin Seattle stories?? cmon, I'm young.. duh.
+ School stress.. greeeaaaaaat :/
+ New friends.. if you know what I mean ;) ..GIRLS idiot. shit, do I have to draw you a map?!
+ Out-of-State Trips?! hmm.. we'll see.
so see you kiddos next time! oh yeah, IM AWESOME.

i can't stop..
for the past few months, i've been trying to move on from a long relationship that ended, and it seems to be going well. except for those few times when i would let my guard down too much and begin to think to myself about what could be. most of the time, im doing good tho. we don't talk very much [rarely actually], and we MAYBE see eachother once in a blue moon, except for just recently.
anyways, i know i shouldn't be thinking about it but the thought sits in the back of my mind constantly, like.... like a tiny smudge on white sneakers; the smudge is hardly noticeable to anyone, but everytime it catches me, i can't stop thinking about it. since this is MY blog, i felt i needed to vent out a little bit more.. as you can see, im slowly creeping away from how i was feeling recently. now the thought doesn't bother me in a sense, but its JUST THERE, yannoe?
so, being my usual self and listening to music and studying [studying may not be usual, but you get the idea], my music was randomly playing when i hear this song. It's great for the moment. or so i think. anyways, this may seem like im only hurting myself by listening to something like this, but honestly it helps me. i used to listen to slow jams when we first broke up, and i ended up alright. so yes.. music, how you take words from my thoughts and put them into lyrics, i envy you.
great song. hope a video comes out for it.. if not this song, then either Role Play or We Should Be. anyways there you have it. theres more on my mind but i think i need to rest up!

my dashboard confessional..
Best Day This Week:
Thursday
This Week's Advice:
Your involvement with groups will raise your self-esteem.
Don't fall into the trap.
Keep a lookout for any individuals eager to confront you with unsavory situations.
Try not to discuss important matters with colleagues.
SOURCE
Now typically I wouldn't look at my horoscope, but for some reason I did.. and damn. foreals? The description is close to how I feel already so I'm somewhat believing it.. for now that is. Lately I've been doing some thinking. Actually, I've been doing A LOT of thinking. So much thinking that I'm losing sleep from it. Sunday night I stayed up until 5am tossing and turning in bed, listening to music on my Blackberry, and contemplating if I should have just gotten up and done something, like pushups and squats until my body was too tired to stand or think.
So to this weeks advice.. "Your involvement with groups will raise your self-esteem" ..OF COURSE. Nothing helps more than interaction with others. Doing something to keep my mind off things is a definite plus.
"Don't fall into the trap" .. too late. I wouldn't neccessarily call it a trap, but maybe a "momentary laps of judgement." I expect one thing going into the situation, but come out with a slap in the face.
"Keep a lookout for any individuals eager to confront you with unsavory situations." ..whatever, bring it. either deal with it now, or let the problem grow. Do I come off very blunt? hmm..
"Try not to discuss important matters with colleagues." .. uhh. okay. no discussions. check!
Last week would have been the 7yr anniversary. Right before that day, I caught a ride with her back to Bremerton. The ride was normal; we caught up on how things were and talked about some random things. In the back of my mind I was thinking about us, but I kept it to myself. We grabbed a light snack at a restaurant we used to eat at, and chatted for awhile, then got dropped home. The next day, anniversary day, was just another day of reminder. I couldn't stop thinking about it. It was a long day.
So now I don't know what it is. It's not that I want to be with her [maybe I do, but that's not what bothers me], or that she has a boyfriend, or that things just don't work out for some reason. I think the thing that's been bothering me the most is just the thought of her. I spend my days like I used to when we first broke up, just thinking about her constantly, trying to find things to do to keep my mind off of it. I read somewhere that the only thing that heals a broken heart is time, and that's what helped me the most. I guess that's all I can do.. I want to keep talking to her though, but part of me says "You'll end up back at square one." I dont know.
I don't know where I was going with this, but I just had to get it out of my system. Maybe I can sleep better at nights, or maybe my days will get easier. Either one will suffice.
**update** while typing this, I actually feel some of the weight being lifted off my shoulder. i hope i can sleep!

i feel DISGUSTING! *gaag*
It's finals week for me.. which means I had to cut down on EVERYTHING i do, and focus on my studies. I've got one more final Wednesday night, and then after that, my liver is going to get a beating. But like I said, I had to cut down on everything I do..
Drinking, going to the GYM [aaahhh!!!], Sleeping, Hanging out, Surfing the web, Blogging, being Lazy, watching LOST..
All I do is sit at my computer, stare at the screen, my books, my notes, and my whiteboard.. I only study for 30min at a time because I'm a HORRIBLE studier[?] and i have a short attention span when it comes to studying.
I need to get to the gym SOON. I feel like I'm out of the loop, like I have to catch up on everything I missed out on. Lucky this past weekend I worked out at Foundation Crossfit on Saturday, then did the BIGCLIMB for Lukemia on sunday *see Crossfit Log for time* .. but lately not going to the gym has made me feel REAL sluggish.
After my final, I will be heading to Seattle to celebrate with friends that will be finished with finals on Wednesday too, so expect a drunken story from this week. I'm sure Drunk-Marc will decide to come out and play.. and curse.. and curse again. Alrite, thats all i got for now. Oh yeah, trip to California this Easter weekend, meaning wine tasting! speaking of wine tasting, check out this clip that I watch constantly.. ITS AWESOME!
*sigh* Okay, back to staring at the same things over and over and over and over and..

Notables of the Week
Alright, the week is just about up. This one is going to be quick like ninja cause I’ve got a ferry to catch once again. No, I am not going to get drunk again.. this time I’m off to Seattle for a workout. So enjoy the next few minutes that I put together for your viewing pleasure..
Early this week, I arrived to the college campus a bit late as usual. I like to get into class right as it begins so that everyone can see how awesome I am before I sit down. SYKE, who does that? Not me.. and by “not me” I mean me. And by “me” I mean skanky girls that need attention to get on with their lives. You skanks. Anyways, point is is that its probably 60-something degrees outside, and I see this chick walking in shorts and crocs.. oh yeah, and a sweater. Now I know what you’re thinking..
“It’s 60-something degrees outside?! And this stupid chick is wearing CROCS?! Foreals, who in their right mind would wear CROCS?!”
I hate crocs. They are a croc of shit. Have I ever owned a pair? HELL NO, I have a brain that knows better than that. So then how could I judge a pair of “shoes” without even trying them on? Well, you know that saying “you can’t judge a book by its cover” ? Well someone took the cover of the Crocs story, buried it far into the ground, and then puked all over the pages. That’s why I know crocs are lame-o. I’d go into further detail, but just the thought of crocs make me want to stab myself in my eye with a pencil.. eraser side. That way I stab my hand with the sharp side at the same time.. So the pain is even worse.
Luckily for me, another person feels the same way for crocs, and also doesn’t have to catch a ferry, so he/she has more time on their hands to elaborate on how dumb crocs are.. about Crocs and more
On a happier note, I just bought the CD/DVD album of Nick Swardson and it is funny as fuck. I popped it in and the first skit cracked me up. I suggest you all go out and get it. If you don’t know him, he’s known for his role in Reno 911, Grandma’s Boy, The Benchwarmers, Blades of Glory, and other movies/shows/comedy stand-ups.. He also posts up on Funny or Die , where he has some great short clips of things he’s written. Hilarious.
Speaking of Hilarious and Funny or Die.. I’m sure some of you have seen the clip of “Charlie bit me” .. if not then
.. well here’s the adult version.. I’d post up but I’m not sure if its too NSFW.. better safe than sorry.. Charlie Bit Me 2.0
Now for some advice..
Ladies, I have no clue how difficult it must be for you to keep your man, or future man in some cases, happy.. but from a guys perspective, I can help you understand what it is we men are looking for. So I think I have found exactly what you need.
Clitter!
[this is a joke by the way, don’t take me seriously]
On a serious note [foreals this time].. As you all may know, I’ve been trying to stay up to date with CrossFit. As of now, my legs are weak and my groin is in pain.. luckily for me I get to work out AGAIN this weekend! Its okay, no pain no gain, right? So to finish up this weeks notables, I’d like to indulge you into an idea I think is quite interesting. And I am sure this is probably true, because I know I wouldn’t mind a partner ;)
“The female workout buddy
For some men, working out with a female can be a terrific motivator for more than the obvious reasons. First, just being around a female can help to increase your testosterone levels, which then translates to you likely having a better workout session. Secondly, if it's your girlfriend or wife you are working out with, this is a terrific activity for you both to do together that will help to strengthen the relationship, in and out of the bedroom.
Far too often couples get into the habit of doing more sedentary activities, coupled with more eating than usual, which results in weight gain. This, in turn, tends to lead to problems regarding attraction. So by choosing fitness as a common hobby, you are addressing the problem before it starts. On the other hand, some men prefer a male workout buddy since they tend to be shy around females, and will thus be distracted. The important thing is realizing what works best for you.” SOURCE
Have a good weekend everyone. Be safe, and wrap it up!

LAST WEEKEND [Feb 22, 2008]
LAST WEEKEND [Feb 22, 2008]
Last weekend began Friday morning for me. At 11am, I had a date with Calculus, and she was a mean bitch, who likes to play with my mind. One hour passes with me and her arguing over who is better, and our time was up. Time for my next date: Alcohol.
I begin packing my things, set off to the ferry, then caught a ride with Mr. CrossFit [CF] himself, where we try figure out what the plan is.. and it went a little something like this..
1.Get Alcohol.
2.Get drunk.
Easy plan, right? Of course. Although CF was DD for the night, that surely didn’t stop me. I just got ass raped by Calculus, therefore Alcohol deserves sloppy seconds. We make it back to the apartment. Bottles begin to open up, mix drinks are made [with the occasional Dissarrono straight up, double], and the asian glow sets in. Everyone who’s everyone shows up, and the saga continues, drink after drink. Now, at this point, I am still Marc-James, meaning I may be a bit louder than usual, but I know what I’m saying.
We pack into the car and make our way to the club. First thought as we enter the club..
“I just got in for free! Mother fuckers, this is going to be a good night!.. where’s my drink?”
I spot the booth, set my jacket down, and wait.. “Hey Marc! Are you gonna get a drink?! C’mon, we’re getting one.” .. BINGO… “Hey, what do you want? Sex on the beach?”
“Sure.” One Sex on the Beach coming up.. *gulp* What the fuck?! This is gross.. Oh well, the words ‘shitfaced’ and ‘gross’ go perfect together.
It’s back to the booth where someone hands me a cup of champagne. AWESOME, cause this will get me fucked up even quicker. *gulp* *gulp*.. Aw shit, my stomach hurts, I knew I should have eaten more. Me and CF decide to get some fresh air upstairs where he introduces me to one of his friends [forgot her name, but she was cute.. I mean, she had a nice personality]. Stomach pain is gone. Time to party. At this point, Marc-James has called it a night, and Buzzed-Marc joins the party.
I’m feeling good. Music is loud, the taste in my mouth is switching from champagne to Cran-Orange-Pineapple-Vodka, and my sight is getting clearer and clearer for some reason. I think that’s what happens when you drink a lot; you tend to see EVERYTHING, which is sorta good, yeah? Anyways, I knock a few random drinks back, and get a drink spilt on my pants [its okay, she was drunk.. a little touchy though, but who’s complaining ;) ]. I decide to visit another booth where another friend is celebrating her birthday. In a nutshell..
“Hey guys! Happy birthday FASA family!.. oh what, picture?! Sure! So uhh.. I think I left my drink here.. Yeah! That one, the one that’s full.. YUM. What is thi--- oh man.. I think I’m.. yeah, I’m FADED.. AWESOME. Ooh, birthday girl isn’t dancing.. Time for lapdance from the king of faded-lapdances.. . … okay, enough of that. Where’d my posse go? Peace out FASA, I got a train to catch, and it’s headed towards a dark tunnel called DRUNK.”
By this point, I’m borderline Drunk-Marc.. because I’m sure more happened but I just can’t remember. Success. I make it back to the booth. “Why is everyone sitting dow—hey, more drinks on the table. *snag*.. *gulp*..YUM.” I get a few dances in with the ladies, and before I know it, it’s time to depart from this debacle, and head back to the apartment. Oh, don’t forget your jacket smarty pants! Jacket; CHECK.
Now, I’d like to introduce you to a friend of mine who hardly comes out. His name is Drunk-Marc.. loud, stupid, foul-mouth, funny [or so I hear], and just down right ready to party. We make it outside with everyone, and the first thing Drunk-Marc decides to do.. play one of the greatest games EVAARRrrr..
“Hey buddy, have you met my friend ‘Joy’ ?!” .. “Hey, this is my friend Joy!” … “Hey man! That’s my friend Joy!”
“Marc! Stop that! Hiiii… yeah that’s me.. okay.. MARC! STOP!”
On our way to the car, I think I blackout.. meaning I don’t remember, but from what I heard, we were giving eachother piggy-back rides all at the same time. But we still make it to the car. Again, I blackout, but from pictures and testimonials, we were taking very weird pictures and complaining about how fast CF was driving. We make it home safely. On our way up the apartment, ‘Legs’ decides to knock on the wrong door.. SHIT. Luckily we’re asian so we know how to run like immigrants.
Home safe. Again, my memory has left me and this time is quite fragmented.
I’m not sure but I think I threw up at this moment, cause I don’t recall seeing food in the toilet yet.
I see 3 people at the front door.. “Marc! Come sign for the pizza!” okay, first of all, I don’t remember saying I’d pay. I don’t even remember anyone ordering pizza!.. oh well, pizza is ZOMG-awesome when drunk.. *I hand them my card* “where do I slide this thing?” … “No, you just sign the receipt.”… “Oh, okay.." *leaning against the wall with my head down* "So wait, $33… $36. is that enough for tip?” Whatevers. We got our pizzas. I grab the gallon bottle of ranch! It’s on like Donkey Kong. When I'm drunk, I always tend to DRENCH my pizza with ranch, everyone thinks it's gross, but they still let me go to town with it. I think I finished one, and then make my way back to the bathroom. Throw up #2. Bday-Girl comes to see how I’m doing. This is where it gets good and bad.. and good again.. *I’m adlibbing from what I kind of remember.. also, it makes sense.*
“Uuughh.. that was gross”
“Are you okay?”
“Fuck Bday-Girl! What the fuck?! Why aren’t you drunk?!”
“Fuck you Marc!”
“No! Fuck you! Fuck.. Bitch. I hate you now.”
“Good. I hate you.”
*sticking my middle finger up* “yeah okay. Fuck. Fuck you.. Fuck.. Fucking bitch.”
I sit back down. Maybe finish another ranch with pizza. Then ‘Lazy’ waves a pizza in my face.. “mmm, it’s soooo good… you know you want some..”
“Excuse me…” *raaaaaaalllllppphhh* Throw up #3.
Bday-Girl and Drunk-Marc exchange words again.
*rubbing back* .. “Aww.. are you okay? You’ll be okay..”
“Dammit Bday-Girl.. I hate you.. I hope you’re enjoying this.. Fuck.”
”HAH.. actually I am.”
*middle finger goes up again* "Fuck, Bday-Girl.."
“Fuck you Marc! Fuck!.. this is too fun.”
“oh yeah! I hope you’re enjoying this.. Fuck.. Fucking bitch.” [yeah, I wouldn’t doubt that I repeated myself..]
The last image I see is everyone sitting by the TV watching Eddie Murphy while I pass out on the couch on the other side of the room. From what I heard, they kept asking “Is Marc still awake?” and I would answer “YES. MARC IS STILL AWAKE” .. then I supposedly got up and had the decency of changing my clothes into sensible sleep wear, because I woke up the next morning saying “What the fuck.. where’d my clothes go?!”
At least the bucket next to me was empty, meaning I’m AWESOME.

PS: for those who were here this night, please feel free to jog my memory, or input anything you remember. Thanks.

marC your calendarrrsss!!
I haven't been to the movies much. I am what you might call... oh, how do you say it.... BROKE. not really broke, but i just spend my money wisely, like on alcoholic beverages, gas, "company" [see: prositutes], ferry rides, and the occasional "dates" if you will.. [btw, im kidding about the prostitutes. you sickos]
The last time i saw a movie was Rambo. Why I saw it, no clue, except for the part of my brain that said "dude, just go watch it. your friends are doing it, and you don't hang out with them very much.. give your hand a break for the night and go out." So I watched it... .. . ...the great part of the movie.. was the theater! hah. the ENTIRE theater was full of empty seats, except for the 3 seats that were filled with my ass and 2 other friends. I didn't have to whisper or keep my voice down when I would yell "WTF?! oh shit! he just cut that dudes arm off!" anyways.. I'm not a big Rambo fan, but it was something out of the norm.
ANYWAYS, the reason for all this is because of a few movies I shall wait for, while I twiddle my thumbs and rock back n forth waiting for the day to arrive. Of course, there are many other movies coming out that I could talk days about [ie. Iron Man, Wolverine, Dark Night, etc.] .. but these few movies that caught my attention get a special high-five from me. btw, I don't pass out high-fives like they're genital herpes so this is rare.
First one is Pineapple Express, the new Judd Apatow movie. Watch the trailer, it's worth the next 2:45 seconds of your life.
Pineapple Express
Yes, more of the guys who brought you Knocked Up and all those movies. I'm a fan of this type of humor, so get off my back. Another movie about smoking weed? .. wait, i dont see a problem there. hmm. oh well, im awesome so whatever.
Next movie is actually NOT a trailer. More of a "test scene".. but overall, it still caught my attention. maybe its because the book scared me when I was a kid. I don't even think I finished it cause it freaked me out. Have a look see and let me know what you think. Actually, don't tell me cause I'm just pretending I care, and the only thing I care about are MONEY and WOMEN.... and food. ... and.. no wait, thats it. oh, and success also i guess.. meh.
Spike Jonze is genius btw
so there you go. I just took maybe 5-10 minutes of your life away, and you're not getting them back. I just altered your future by typing up this blog. Isn't that crazy?? You can thank me later when you rule the world, or win the lottery. Oh yeah, the weekend's coming up, and I think I'm getting shitfaced because of an EXAM on FRIDAY. so check back to see what type of stupidity i get myself into..
Im awesome.

Ooh! so lately I've been working on a new workout schedule.. CROSSFIT, thanks to my boy DRU. He's got me hooked [like the ladies that follow him] on CROSSFIT! its a great workout, and I haven't done such an extensive workout like this before and im enjoying it. Check his shit out! after that you can check his website out ;) hehe.. silly.
Tonights quote of the week.. and may I say, this quote is possibly the one quote I will be living by for the next few years of my life. maybe more..
Usher You Don't Have to Call
"Gonna boogie.. tonight. Cause I'm honestly too young of a guy, to stay home.. Waitin' for love. So tonight, I'm gonna do what any single man does.. and that's PARRRRTTTAAYYY.."
[After this, I had to leave to go hang out. So a quick recap of what I left my blog for]
8pm: Friday night, out n' about around town.. hotel party doesn't go down so we decide to take it to our old "hang out" spot, a bar.
10pm: A couple hours go by with a few drinks here and there.. catching up on things.
11pm: More friends meet up with us at the bar [about 13-15 of us now] so we get a table.
12am: 2 tables away, 3 "other" guys try to stare us down. We don't let that pass.
12am-1am: Words are exchanged. more talking and sitting, till they start taunting us. Again we don't let that pass.
1:15am: Push comes to shove, shove comes to blows to the face on the "other" guys. Security breaks it up, kicks the other guys out, but not before they get a good beating from 15 of us.
1:25ish: Cops come, the bar is a mess, some blood here and there, surrounded by adrenalin and testosterone in the air. Tonight was a good night. By the way, we didn't get kicked out.
2:30am: Home safe now. can't sleep, too much adrenalin. must blog to calm down.
What a way to start the weekend, right? well snowboarding in a few hours. Did I mention this trip cost me $5 for transportation and lift ticket? what.a.steal. too bad I can't pack my Subaru under the bus so I can take it up the mountain..
Have a safe weekend everyone, and be sure to give it up for the presidents! who gave us freedom, the pursuit of happiness, and of course... A 3 DAY WEEKEND.
and im spent.

Flowers?! for me?! you shouldn't have ;)
February 14: Valentine's Day.
WARNING: This blog about V-Day is written in perspective of a MAN. I already know what I'm getting myself into, but hey, I've got nothing to lose.
Now, we all know the story of Valentine's Day, so I'm not going to bore you with it. Some people like to use this time as A DAY to celebrate their beautiful relationship with their partner, maybe by a bouquet of flowers, chocolate, candle lit dinner for 2, soft love music playing in the background, etc etc.. yet, of course we've all heard it before..
WHY JUST ONE DAY?! of course we shouldn't focus on just one day to show others we love them.. it should be a natural thing we do throughout or lives. Again, we know this too. And again, I will not bore you with knowledge you already have, or should have.
I'm not here to lecture, I'm here to let you in on how i feel about Valentine's Day. I am one of those who would say
"Valentine's Day?! but.. didn't I just take you out to dinner?!"
I think Valentine's Day isn't for everyone, meaning it's for those who have such a busy schedule trying to raise a family, it's sort of a "reminder," and since Saint Valentine is celebrated this day, why not kill two birds with one stone? Seriously, not EVERYONE is perfect, so of course we will have one of those years where things just get so hectic during life, you need a little reminder. So yeah, a celebration for your relationship should be done throughout time, but I feel for those who are just caught up in things. And the 14th is the day you both can share that one moment throughout your busy schedule.
I'm not perfect, so I may have not shown it so much during V-day, but I'm sure I was able to show it during the relationship, I mean why else would it last so long? I'm not bragging, but then again, shit.. people don't call me "BOMB in the form of man" or "10%" for nothing ;)
So how do I feel about V-day? It sucks. It's sort of a reminder for me.. that during all that time I did the little things, and the big things, I have nothing to show for it. Yeah so I may be a bit greedy, but thats what happens when you put someone else before your own needs. But for me, my needs were to make someone else happy.
There is no greater feeling than putting a smile on someone's face. Your heart pitter patters, your knees get weak, you get a rush of feelings in all your senses.. overall it's probably the greatest high you can get, or so I think. So yeah I should have been thinking of myself, to be more independent and all, but I'd rather go through life knowing I could make someone smile so much, and not reach my "dream life". Maybe that is my dream life; make someone happy, THEN be successful. Maybe my success is found in other peoples happiness.. hmm..
Valentine's Day gives me mixed feelings. A single person having to endure the day where two people who are attracted to each other celebrate their relationship. GREAT. thanks for reminding me IM SINGLE. But then again, thanks for reminding me IM SINGLE. and YOUNG. and I know I can express my love also, maybe even better than you! and right now is not the time, but time will pass and I will have my Valentine's Day. SHE will have MY Valentine's Day, and it may not be celebrated on the 14th of February, but rather on the days I want to remind her how much I care.
There you have it. MARC and V-Day. have a good one everyone, and if you don't have that other person by your side, don't fret. Your day will come, and you will make it the best V-Day for that special someone. I know I will.
Musiq Soulchild "Love"
Many days I've longed for you
Wanting you
Hoping for the chance to get to know you
Longing for your kiss
For your kiss, for your touch, for your feel, for your essense
Many nights I've cried from the things you do
Felt like I could die from the thought of losing you
I know that you're real
With no doubt, and no fears
And no questions
Love
So many people use your name in vain
Love
Those who have faith in you sometimes go astray
Love
Through all the ups and downs, the joy and hurt
Love
For better or worse I still will choose you first
